Another Toyota Alphard came in with a familiar complaint:

“My brake pedal feels softer than usual.”

After lifting the vehicle, the actual issue appeared —
the brake hose was leaking, and light oil traces were already visible around the wheel area.

For many aging Alphard / Vellfire units,
brake hose deterioration is a common situation:

✔ The leak is very subtle
✔ Hard to see from the outside
✔ Brake pedal gradually becomes soft
✔ Brake fluid level drops faster

🔧 How we fixed it:
– Replaced the worn brake hose
– Flushed and refilled the brake fluid
– Restored firm and stable brake pedal feel

If your Alphard’s brake pedal feels unusually soft,
or you spot small oil marks on the ground,
it’s best to get it checked early for safety and peace of mind.
